Website Theme Revert: We're Back to Basics (For Now!)

Hey Black Dragon Comics family!

You might have noticed that our website looks a little different this morning. If it feels familiar, that's because we've reverted back to our classic theme!

We know, we know—we were all really excited about the recent updates to our site. We've been working hard over the last $30$ days to roll out a sleek, modern look and an improved shopping experience. And on Desktop, everything was loading beautifully and consistently.

However, we hit a snag that we just can't ignore: mobile load times.

We've been intensely monitoring the site performance, and while the new design looked great, the time it was taking to fully load on mobile devices has reached a point where it simply doesn't meet our expectations for a smooth, fast user experience.

Why the Change?

At Black Dragon Comics, we want your experience—whether you're hunting for a new key issue, browsing our back catalog, or just checking the latest news—to be as seamless as possible. Since so many of you shop on the go, a slow mobile site is a broken site. We believe you deserve better than waiting around for pages to load.

This is a temporary move, but it might be for an extended period. Think of it as hitting the pause button. We've taken the updated theme behind the scenes and are going to continue testing and optimizing it until we hit the lightning-fast load times you deserve.
