Shipping & Handling at Black Dragon Comics

At Black Dragon Comics, we are collectors first. We know there is nothing worse than receiving a long-awaited comic only to find it damaged by flimsy packaging. That’s why we’ve designed a premium shipping process to ensure your books arrive in the same condition they left our shop.

The Black Dragon Standard

For all items shipped directly from our warehouse, we provide:

  • Heavy-Duty Packaging: We use sturdy, crush-proof Uline boxes (not flimsy bubble mailers).

  • Internal Protection: High-value books, including Ratio Variants and Signed Editions, are "sandwiched" between corrugated pads for maximum rigidity.

  • Full Insurance: We include insurance on every single order we ship at no additional cost to you.

Publisher-Direct Shipping (Drop-shipped Items)

Some items on our site are shipped directly from the publisher to get them to you as quickly as possible.

  • Identification: Every product page clearly indicates if an item is shipped by "Black Dragon Comics" or a "Publisher."

  • Shipping Methods: Please note that while we hold our internal shipping to the highest standard, we cannot guarantee the specific packaging materials used by third-party publishers.

  • Multiple Packages: If your order contains both in-stock items and publisher-direct items, they will arrive in separate packages.

We process orders Monday - Friday. We are closed on Weekends and Holidays. Most orders are fulfilled within 2 business days depending on volume of orders received.

Economy Rates 

In-stock itesm usualy arrive in 5 to 8 business days. Tracking & Insurance is included. Shipping and Processing rates are as follows for orders with a subtotal of:

  • $0.00 - $10.00 = $7.95
  • 10.01 - $15.00 = $8.95
  • $15.01 - $55.00 = $9.95
  • $55.01 - $59.99 = $10.95
  • $60.00+ = FREE SHIPPING!

Standard Rates

In-stock itesm usualy arrive in 3 to 4 business days. Tracking & Insurance is included. Shipping and Processing rates are as follows for orders with a subtotal of:

  • $0.00 - $45.00 = $13.95
  • $45.01 - $100.00 = $14.95
  • $100.01 - $105.00 = $15.95
  • $105.01 - $200.00 = $20.95
  • $200.01+ = $30.95

Express Rates

In-stock itesm usualy arrive in 1 to 2 business days. Tracking & Insurance is included. Shipping and Processing rates are as follows for orders with a subtotal of:

  • $0.00 - $100.00 = $45.95
  • $100.01 - $110.00 = $46.95
  • $110.01 - $200.00 = $127.95
  • $200.01+ = $135.95
