Hey everyone,
First off, a massive thank you to all of you for the incredible influx of orders recently. I am so grateful for your support, but as a small business, this sudden jump in volume means we have a backlog to work through. I know you’re anxious to get your comics, and I want to be completely transparent about what we’re doing to catch up and the changes we are making to improve our processes.
Our Battle Plan for the Weekend We have all hands on deck this weekend. Our goal is to have every single order placed through yesterday (Thursday, 7/9/2026) fully packaged up before the weekend is over.
We will be printing shipping labels as we go. However, to keep you fully in the loop: we had to place a massive order for more shipping supplies, and we anticipate we will actually run out of shipping labels before Monday. Don't worry if your order is packaged but hasn't tracked yet—the moment that supply shipment arrives early next week, we will immediately resume printing and shipping those packages out.
When Will Things Get Back to Normal? We currently have a banner on the site reflecting a longer processing time. Once our packing marathon gets us down to just 50 orders left in the backlog, we will be removing that massive order banner and resetting our average processing time back to our standard 2 business days.
New Automated Order Status Alerts To help give you peace of mind while we work through the queue, we’ve created a new automated alert system.
For all new orders placed from today onward, you will receive an update email every 5 days your order hasn't shipped yet. This email will remind you of your specific order number and show you the exact order number our team just finished processing. This way, you can see exactly where you are in line and track our progress in real-time. (Please note that our system can't retroactively apply this to past orders, but we are working on a first-come, first-served basis to get those out to you as fast as possible).
Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding as we navigate this growth and refine our system. I couldn't do this without you, and we’re heading into the warehouse now to get your books moving!
