Hey there, Black Dragon Fam!
Just wanted to give you all a quick update on what's been happening around the shop. I know some of you have experienced a slight delay with your orders this week, and I sincerely apologize for that. We're a small team, and with the school year kicking off, a lot of us (myself included!) are adjusting to new routines. My two little dragons are back in school, which means my day is now scheduled around drop-offs and pick-ups. We're all adapting, and I'm confident we'll have all the necessary adjustments in place soon to avoid any future hiccups. We're working hard to get all of your packages out the door and catching up!
Shipping Fees and Our Growing Catalog
On a different note, I wanted to talk about our shipping fees. We're constantly working to keep things fair and transparent. Our goal has always been for you to pay the actual cost of shipping your order. We review our shipping data every 90 days and make adjustments to the fees as needed. You may have noticed some changes in how the rates are displayed, and that's simply so we can be compliant with different sales and marketing channels.
Speaking of things growing, can you believe we now have over 5,000 products on the website?! This is an amazing milestone, but it's also presented a few challenges. We use Shopify for our website, and the current theme just wasn't built for a catalog this massive. You might have noticed that some collections don't display the filter option, and that's because of the sheer quantity of items. I'm currently working on a major overhaul of the site to make it more user-friendly and better suited for our huge selection. I'm aiming to launch the new site right after Labor Day weekend, so keep an eye out for that!
