Black Dragon Comics: October 2024 Updates

Hey Comic Fans!

We're excited to share some updates about what's happening at Black Dragon Comics this October.

Supply Chain Updates

As you may know, we experienced a supply chain disruption back in July that caused some delays in receiving new inventory shipments. We're still working hard to catch up, but we're making progress and hope to be fully caught up by the end of the month.

To help get caught up more quickly we may not update the titles and descriptions until after we are caught up. This may make things a little harder to find in the search bar. This should only be a temporary setback.

Website Testing and Updates

We're also conducting some testing on our website to improve its speed and performance, especially as we prepare for Black Friday. You might notice some slight changes to the website's design as we make these adjustments. Please rest assured that our systems are fully operational, and our weekly sales are still running as usual.

Hidden Sale: Buy 3, Get 1 Free

We're introducing a new "Hidden Sale" or "Secret Menu" deal: Buy 3 Comics, Get 1 Free. In the past, we'd randomly select a free comic for you, but now you can choose your own! Simply add 4 or more comics or magazines to your cart, and one of them will be free at checkout.

Free Shipping Threshold

Our free shipping threshold is currently set at $49.99. We're reviewing our data this week and may adjust the threshold based on our findings. Any changes will be announced before October 5th.

Series Subscriptions Made Easy

We've made it easier to subscribe to your favorite series! On the product page for comics, magazines, and graphic novels, you'll find a "Subscribe to Series" button. Clicking this button will now take you directly to the subscription/pre-order page for that specific series.
