Our Subscription/Pre-Order System Explained

I wanted to provide some info on how Our subscription/pre-order system works.

Every month, we get data from Previews Catalog (comic shop catalog),
Marvel Previews, and DC Connect. Those catalogs all feature comics, graphic novels magazines that are scheduled to be released 2 months from now.

You would go in and pick the titles that you want to either subscribe to or pre-order.

We do not charge for these items upfront. However, when your comics arrive we will pull them and set them aside for you for a maximum of 45 days.

Based on your shipping settings (Monthly, Bi-Weekly or Weekly) we will generate an invoice for you showing all the comics that we have pulled up to that point. The invoice will look like an order and you may think that we have charged your account.

We did not charge your account.

As a safety precaution we do not store any customer credit card information. If you use Shop Pay, Shopify may have your information stored for faster checkouts.

We send invoices out on Tuesdays. If your shipping settings are for Monthly, your invoice will be the Last Tuesday of the month.

You will get reminder emails up to the 45 day mark to pay for your invoice.

Once payment is received, your order then gets put into our queue to package up and ship it.

You get a discount off the cover price based on the total number of active titles you are subscribed to. That discount will be applied to any Pre-Orders you have.

Pre-Orders will not increase your discount tier.

Ratio Variant covers may be available for Pre-Order, however, we are not guaranteed to receive them and the pricing for these covers will be Market Value at the time of release.

If you don't pay for your order within 45 days, the invoice is cancelled and the comics become available for anyone to purchase. Depending on how many comics were in the shipment, we may prevent your account from placing future subscriptions/pre-orders.

If you are not going to be able to pay within the 45 days, please let us know and we will work with you on extending the time frame.
